UNMATCHED ROAD-HOLDING

Air suspensions and a wide chassis confer a remarkable level of stability and exemplary road-holding to the Renault Premium Lander. The air-suspended cab ensures both safety and comfort.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE BRAKES

Renault Premium Lander is equipped with the very latest generation of EBS (Electronic Braking System) electronically-controlled air brakes. Not only does it make hill-starts easier but it can also check the status of the braking system and the temperature of the brake discs at any time.
EBS electronic management couples the different braking and retardation systems: service brakes, Optibrake and retarders.

Retarder
The Intarder (on manual gearboxes) and VOITH (Optidriver+* robotised gearbox) systems can be coupled to the brake pedal; this greatly increases braking performance and significantly extends brake pad life significantly.

ESP
ESP (Electronic Stability Program) is activated the moment the truck loses contact with the road surface and takes control of each wheel individually to stabilise the vehicle. The power transferred to the steering wheels is reduced so as to minimise the risks of skidding off the road, especially on wet surfaces and in corners.

Optibrake

Renault Premium Lander has the best braking system on the market.
The Optibrake engine brake delivers high retardation power even at low engine speeds: 303 kW at 2,300 rpm; 160 kW at 1,500 rpm (DXi11 engine), making it the most powerful and the most reliable in its category.

AIR PRODUCT MANAGEMENT (APM)

Renault Trucks breaks new ground with its electronic air management system, Air Product Management. APM brings greater safety, as well as savings in weight, consumption and maintenance.
The system switches from mechanical air production to electronic air production for enhanced safety and quality. It optimises production and processing, to deliver even more braking power on downhill runs and supply compressed air outside of acceleration phases.
