A cab offering adapted to the needs of the construction industry:

206 kW (280 hp) at 2300 rpm – 1050 Nm from 1200 to 1700 rpm.
235 kW (320 hp) at 2300 rpm – 1200 Nm from 1200 to 1700 rpm.

DXi11 Euro 3
242 kW (330 hp) from 1100 to 1480 rpm – 1650 Nm from 1100 to 1400 rpm.
279 kW (380 hp) from 1800 to 1900 rpm – 1800 Nm from 1000 to 1400 rpm.
323 kW (440 hp) at 1850 rpm – 2000 Nm from 1100 to 1400 rpm.

GEARBOXES

New gearboxes for an optimal combination of payload, lower consumption and smooth driving:
4 manual gearboxes, including one with 6 speeds, one with 9 speeds and two with 16 speeds
1 S3200 V automatic gearbox
Optidriver+ robotised gearboxes.
3 systems for smoother gearshifts:

  • The cable control which increases comfort (by filtering vibrations), smoothness and safety: eliminates gears jumping due to movement of the cab in relation to the chassis
  • The Servoshift: an assistance system allowing the effort needed for shifting gears to be reduced by 75%
  • The Super H which consists of superimposing gears 5 to 8 on top of gears 1 to 4.

To switch from one range of gears to another, the driver simply has to activate the press button on the gearshift lever handle.
The electrovalve protects the system from driver errors.
The gearbox splitter synchro protection prevents inadvertant shifting from a high to a low range of gears.
Gear selection is accurate, swift (with short selection travel) and secured (electrovalve).
The gearbox is designed to be used with double reduction drive axles, for optimal vehicle mobility.
The Optidriver+ robotised gearboxes are particularly suitable for worksite applications.

POWER TAKE-OFF

A wide choice of PTOs are available, electronically controlled for greater reliability and safety:
The power takeoff on the gearbox
The engine rear power take-off
The high-power PTO between the engine and gearbox.

DRIVE AXLES AND AXLES

Solo drive axles
2 rear single reduction drive axles P 13150 and P 13170.
2 rear double reduction drive axles P 1391 and P 1361.

Tandem drive axles
2 rear double reduction tandem P 2191 and P 2161.

Axles
2 E73 and E93 front axles with an offset of 60 mm.

APM (AIR PRODUCT MANAGEMENT)

Renault Trucks innovates with its electronically controlled air management system, Air Product Management. This system offers greater safety, as well as savings in weight, fuel consumption and maintenance:

  • Instead of air being produced mechanically, it is now controlled electronically for greater safety and quality
  • Production and treatment are optimised
  • Braking power is higher on downhill runs
  • Compressed air is produced outside acceleration phases.

BRAKING

Renault Premium Lander is fitted with disc brakes and the latest generation
Electronic Braking System (EBS 5) as standard.
This is a system of electronically controlled air braking which adapts vehicle braking wheel by wheel according to road grip conditions.

EBS Basic
ABS: controls the vehicle’s directional stability during emergency stops.
Emergency braking assistance: optimises braking distance during emergency braking.
Engine brake management: when changing down on wet surfaces, this enables the driver to maintain control of a lightly loaded vehicle by avoiding rear wheel lock.
Easy Hill Start: allows the vehicle’s brakes to be released without rolling back.

EBS Basic+
ASR antiskid system: maintains control of the vehicle on slippery surfaces.
Brake shoe wear balancing system: evenly distributes brake shoe wear between axles so that all can be changed during a single maintenance operation.

EBS Full (only for solo rigid and 4x2 tractor)
ESP: Electonic Stability Program, providing perfect safety when taking bends.

Braking system coupling
Renault Trucks offers the possibility of coupling different braking systems: service brakes, engine brake and Intarder (ZF) or Voith (Optidriver+) retarders.

This system is controlled by the EBS (Electronic Braking System) or automatically by depressing the brake pedal:

  • Braking optimisation, adjusted according to rear axle load
  • Enhanced brake shoe life: wear evenly distributed
  • Fast response time
  • Smooth driving
  • 100% braking capacity is used (engine brakes, exhaust brake, engine retarders and service brakes).

SUPENSIONS

Front and rear parabolic suspension (normal or reinforced) with shock absorbers and antiroll bar.
Parabolic front supension with a capacity of 7.1 t, 8 t and 9 t.
Parabolic or air rear supension with a capacity of 11.5 t or 13 t.
Parabolic or air rear supension with a capacity of 21 t for tandems.

MAINTENANCE

Maintenance frequency is adjusted to vehicle usage by means of an engine oil use analysis system.
Maintenance assistance provided by rapid breakdown diagnosis and a predictive display of maintenance and oil drain frequency.
